Count to Ten

Hailey has learned how to count to ten. It's evolved over the last few months. She still skips over one sometimes, but now she actually says all ten numbers. She used to say, "two, three, four, second, eight, nine, ten!" It's been really fun to hear her walking around counting. She's also learned how to count backwards from five. I'm thinking she's picked up counting from my exercise class - with sets of 15 the instructor counts to ten and backwards from five.

This made me miss my mother - Hailey's great grandma Ashby. She learned the alphabet frontwards and backwards and it was great until her older years when short term memory loss and other complications of old age set in and she was so frustrated for she didn't know 'which' way to say the alphabet or which order was correct. I so enjoy your blog. Love you lots. Mom

That is so cute!!! Heidi and Mahonri wants me to play it over and over and over and over again. They miss you SO MUCH as their mother does too. I can't wait to see you all agian. Caylee is now crawling. She also is pushing herself up on her feet so she lookes like Mogly off of the Jungle Book trying to be an elephant. It is so much fun seeing our children grow. We love you and look forward to reading and seeing more of your family.

Love,

The Murphys
